Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and over the phone, and help achieve sales goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Primary duties include delivering excellent customer service, performing DIY services, managing inventory and back stock, and keeping the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Able to meet personal and store sales goals while supporting team targets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and well stocked across departments.
