Job summary

The h.wood Group is seeking an entry-level Dishwasher for Lady Delilah’s Back of House team in New York. This role supports cooks, keeps service areas and cookware clean, and helps maintain sanitary conditions as the restaurant prepares for its fall opening.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, flexible with scheduling, and comfortable standing for long periods while handling routine kitchen tasks and light lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and comprehend instructions in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep service and cookware clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and surfaces.
• Assist cooks with food prep.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
