Job summary

KBR Government Solutions is hiring a Metrology Technician I who will calibrate and certify dimensional measuring and test equipment, ensuring NIST traceability. You will also pickup and return customer tooling and assist with related tasks as required.

Responsibilities include performing calibrations, generating electronic reports, and maintaining quality records. The role emphasizes safe practices and collaboration within the Metrology team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of hand tools and their operation.
• U.S. Citizenship status required due to client requirement.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and certify dimensional measuring/test equipment to NIST traceability.
• Perform calibration on equipment and maintain records.
• Create reports in electronic systems and update quality records.
• Handle pickup and drop-off of customer tooling daily.
• Maintain safe working environment per HS&E requirements.
