Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician to service and repair trailers at our Grandview, WA location.

The role is full-time with a 3x12 or 4x10 schedule options and shifts paying a differential on second and third shifts. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, DOT/FHWA inspections, tire/brake/suspension work, electrical/ABS diagnostics, welding and fabrication, and on-road service as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of shop experience with DOT annual inspections, brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and ABS systems.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
