Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is seeking an Entry Level Diesel Technician to begin a stable career with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will perform basic vehicle maintenance, identify components, and assist with preventive maintenance under supervision, with opportunities to grow within Ryder's logistics network. The shift is second shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm), Monday–Friday with weekends off, and tuition assistance is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• One year or more experience in transportation maintenance preferred.
• CDL Class A, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic vehicle maintenance
• Performs component identification and minor repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance with training and support
• Performs facility maintenance duties
• Perform all entry level tasks
• Diagnoses minor mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
• Performs other related duties as assigned
