FleeTec Academy is a paid educational program that leads to becoming one of our full-time Diesel & Trailer Technicians. It was established to help people enter the Diesel & Trailer Maintenance field who might not be able to afford a formal Technical School with associated tuition debt and the necessary tools for the job.

We pay you to go through our program, providing free education on the fundamentals of Diesel Engines and how to fix trucks, along with a set of hand tools with a toolbox, to get you on your way to becoming the best Diesel & Trailer Technician!

Here is what we ask in return: You must be willing to study hard for four (4) weeks of full-time schooling at our Academy Campus. Travel expenses are covered, including hotel accommodation and a stipend for meals, plus a weekly paycheck. After completing the classroom phase, you will be paired with a Lead Technician for further hands-on training and offered a full-time job with us!

• 4 weeks paid classroom training; all travel expenses paid.
• Free Technical Education.
• Further hands-on training by one of our technicians and a full-time job as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic.
• Our Mobile Technicians are assigned a state-of-the-art vehicle to perform vehicle repairs at our customers’ locations.
• Real pay rates with a predefined pathway for raises.
• $13.08/h (or state minimum wage, whichever is greater) + $250/wk. stipend (taxed).
• $19/h for 6 weeks after that.
• Second class for 4 weeks at Indy at $19/h + $250/wk. (taxed).
• Then + $1/h upon graduation.

• Maturity level to focus on the task at hand.
• Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles.
• Ability to operate an iPad.
• Must be 21 to drive one of our trucks.
• A High-School Diploma or equivalent education is preferred, but not required.
• Background checks, driving records checks, pre-employment drug testing, and physicals will be conducted.
