Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. is seeking an entry level Helper Technician in Tukwila, WA. You will assist master technicians in inspecting and testing Marine Diesel Engines and performing basic servicing and minor repairs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or Vocational Training and a valid driver’s license. Prior CAT exposure is a plus; the role requires standing most of the day and a willingness to learn in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or a 2–4 year vocational training.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to stand up to eight hours and perform bending, twisting and kneeling.
• Experience at a CAT dealership or with CAT products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, prep, and test Marine Diesel Engines.
• Service equipment at required intervals and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist senior technicians in repairs and other duties as needed.
