At Soar Autism Center, our care model is based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a program tailored to the unique learning needs of children with early autism. We integrate child development best practices and behavior analysis to help children grow, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary caregiver, responsible for teaching new skills to children in a 1:1 setting to support their comprehensive growth.
• Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, adhering to the principles of the ESDM and Soar's model.
• Build strong relationships with families, provide regular updates on progress, and offer guidance based on best practices in child care.

Qualifications

• Interest and experience in child care roles (e.g., daycare, nannying) or related educational backgrounds (e.g., bachelor's in psychology or child development).
• Strong interpersonal skills for building connections with children and families.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Reliable transportation to training locations and centers; punctuality is essential.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform other physical requirements as specified.
