Great Lakes Dental Technologies' is seeking a Dental Lab Technician who has a high focus on quality. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in the dental industry or those with strong manual dexterity and a talent for hands-on tasks like arts and crafts.

Job Title: Pumice and Polish Lab Technician (Entry Level)

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Summary: Responsible for the pumicing and polishing of appliances according to Great Lakes Dental Technologies procedures and standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform precision polishing and pumicing of various orthodontic appliances, to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Use a variety of abrasive materials, compounds, and polishing agents to remove imperfections, scratches, and irregularities from dental surfaces.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed and materials used.
  • Checks products due dates and prioritizes work by completing work in order due.
  • Completes assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints.
  • Performs Quality checks on product.
  • Regularly clean, maintain laboratory workspace. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Performs assigned work functions as production requires.

Education And/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
