Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Entry-Level Dental Assistant in Michigan. No dental experience required; training through DANB and a path to CDA certification. You will be paid hourly during training and gain hands-on experience with a supportive team.

As part of a community-focused practice, you’ll assist in procedures, prepare operatory, manage infection control, and support patient charts while learning radiology and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Supports patient charting for Doctors
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
