Tri-City Group seeks a Junior Project Manager to support data center projects across Technologies, Structured Cabling, and Mission Critical Divisions. This entry-level role offers a defined career path in Data Center Project Management and a chance to move from field work into project leadership.

You will assist with procurement, submittals, and coordination among foremen, subs, and owners, while learning safety protocols and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of field or technical experience in structured cabling or low voltage.
• Bachelor's in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience (4 years).
• Interest in mission-critical and data center projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn project management software.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of data center structured cabling projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Assist with material procurement and tracking for high-density fiber and copper packages.
• Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate schedules with field foremen, superintendents, subcontractors, general contractors, and owner's representatives on phased, fast-moving projects.
• Participate in project meetings and site walks alongside senior project managers.
• Assist with budget tracking and change order documentation on large-scale, multi-phase projects.
• Learn and apply site-specific access, security, and safety protocols required in hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.
• Support field leadership in enforcing job site safety standards.
• Maintain project files, punch lists, and closeout packages.
• Support field leadership with new-hire site orientation and onboarding.
