NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an entry-level Data Center Field Installations Technician (L1) to support in-rack installations at our Miami, Ashburn, Council Bluffs, and Ashburn, TN data centers. This hands-on role suits candidates with some data center or racking experience.

Responsibilities include assembling racks, labeling cabling, connecting power feeds, and assisting with cooling setups.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center hardware or racking & stacking.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and rack components (PDUs, rails, cable management).
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting, working in confined rack spaces).
• Safety conscious, eager to learn, high attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written instructions and technical documentation.

• Route and label copper and fiber cabling.
• Connect power feeds and set up airflow/cooling in data centers.
• Follow documented procedures, checklists, and standards.
• Support basic troubleshooting of server and sensor issues via ticketing system.

Locations: Miami, FL 33131 | Ashburn, VA 20175 | Council Bluffs, IA | Ashburn, TN (On-Site)

Join our team! We’re hiring Entry Level Data Center Field Installations Technicians to support in-rack installations at our data centers in Miami, Ashburn, Council Bluffs, and Ashburn, TN. This hands‑on role is ideal for candidates with some data center or similar racking & stacking experience.

What you’ll do:

• Assemble racks and install servers, network, and storage equipment
• Route and label copper & fiber cabling
• Connect power feeds and set up airflow/cooling (DX & direct-to-chip liquid cooling)
• Follow documented procedures, checklists, and technical standards
• Support basic troubleshooting of server and sensor issues via ticketing system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What we’re looking for:

• Prior data center/IT hardware or racking & stacking experience
• Familiarity with structured cabling and rack components (PDUs, rails, cable management)
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting, confined rack spaces, standing)
• Safety conscious, eager to learn, high attention to detail
• Ability to follow written instructions and technical documentation
• Must be able to work onsite at one of our listed locations (no remote option)
