Astreya is seeking a Data Center Modeling Technician to learn and document the digital twin of our global fiber network within data centers and PoPs. You will collaborate with engineers to translate physical layouts into precise digital records and support network data management.

Qualifications

• Foundational interest in telecommunications construction, networking or fiber tech.
• Highly organized and meticulous with data and documentation.
• Proficient with Google apps (Sheets) and quick to learn new software.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical material.
• Understanding of documenting and maintaining clear process guides.

Responsibilities

• Document, edit, and manage ISP fiber assets in data centers and POPs.
• Translate engineering diagrams and vendor As-Built docs into accurate digital records.
• Assist senior specialists to ensure data model accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Digitize and verify passive and active network elements; log all changes.
• Support cross-functional teams by running basic network data reports and capacity checks.
• Utilize visualization tools to plan and communicate network paths.
