Astreya is seeking a Data Center Modeling Technician to join our team. This entry-level role trains you to build and maintain a digital twin of our global fiber network, including ISP fiber assets in data centers and POPs.

You will learn to translate engineering diagrams into accurate digital records, support senior specialists with data checks, and document all Moves, Adds, and Changes as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge or interest in telecommunications and fiber technology.
• Strong attention to detail and data management mindset.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Digital Modeling: document, edit, and manage fiber assets in data centers and POPs.
• Data Integrity & Translation: translate diagrams and As-Built docs into digital records.
• Modeling Support: assist with data checks and resolve discrepancies between physical and digital models.
• Documentation & Process: log all moves, adds, changes, and maintain clear process docs.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: support capacity checks and coordinate with engineering, installation, and field teams.
• Visualization Tools: use AutoCad and Google Earth/Maps to visualize network layouts.
