Job summary

Astreya is hiring a Data Center Modeling Technician III to build and maintain digital twins of data centers and point-of-presence sites. You will learn to document ISP fiber assets, translate physical diagrams into digital records, and support data integrity though collaboration with engineering and field teams.

The role involves hybrid work near Denver, with training in software tools like OSPi, ArcGIS, and AutoCad, contributing to capacity planning and data accuracy in a global network

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge or proven interest in telecommunications construction techniques, networking principles, or fiber optic technology.
• Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and meticulous when working with data or complex documentation.
• Proficiency with Google suite (especially Sheets) and a strong ability to learn new, complex software platforms quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to clearly document technical information for various audiences.
• An understanding of creating and maintaining clear process documentation and technical guides.

Responsibilities

• Learn to document, edit, and manage ISP fiber assets within data centers and Points-of-Presence (POPs).
• Translate engineering diagrams and As-Built documentation into accurate digital records using specialized software.
• Support senior specialists to ensure accuracy and logical structure of the data center model.
• Digitize, record, and verify passive and active network elements, logging all changes.
• Run basic network data reports and assist with capacity checks and cross-team communication.
