Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computers, operating systems, software, and technology concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, or related issues.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and physical security technology.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and maintenance of video surveillance servers and infrastructure.
• Learn to administer and maintain the district's electronic access control system.
• Troubleshoot integrations between surveillance, access control, and security systems.
• Support crisis alert and incident response systems, including testing and maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, servers, and network connectivity.
• Collaborate with Technology, Facilities, and district personnel to support security operations.
• Develop knowledge of cybersecurity trends and data privacy regulations.
