Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience handling small parts with tweezers and using a microscope preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer to drawings, routers, and procedures to perform processing operations.
• Weigh raw chemicals and mix batches.
• Calcination, drying, or high-temperature ceramic processing and milling.
• Perform density and viscosity measurements and particle size analysis.
• Operate and maintain processing equipment (blenders, furnaces).
• Spray drying or granulation; mechanical die pressing of ceramic powder.
• Setup and maintenance of tooling; in-process inspection and data recording.
• Learn to use microscope and hand tools; maintain clean work area.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures; assist continuous improvement.
