PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician in Depew, NY to perform a variety of production assembly tasks with a focus on quality and Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS). You will follow written procedures, use a microscope and basic tools, and maintain manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Basic computer and electronic skills.
• Travel: NONE

Responsibilities

• Perform simple assembly using microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, epoxy/cures, inspection processes, and good soldering techniques.
• Soldering, spot welding, and washing using drawings, routers, Bills of Material, and specifications according to ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Inspect workmanship and processes to ensure quality before moving to the next operation; strive for zero defect status.
• Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments about product, assembly, or schedule issues.
• Ensure calibration dates for material/equipment are current; alert if expired or near expiry.
• Perform other related duties as directed
