Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Asheboro, NC plant is hiring Entry-Level Production Associates for our corrugated packaging facility. You will train with experienced team members to learn the process of producing corrugated boxes from start to finish, with opportunities to move into various roles within our facility.

The position offers a chance to grow, with on-site training and exposure to multiple shifts. The company emphasizes safety, teamwork, and career development in a large national packaging operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment or completion of post-high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or input data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear protective equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting and standing for up to 12 hours in a loud industrial environment.
