Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an entry‑level Controls & Electrical Engineer to support design, development, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and control systems in manufacturing environments.

You will work under guidance to assist with PLC/HMI logic, automation projects, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within the Advanced Engineering Team in Hauppauge, NY, on‑site. A bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience or internship in electrical/controls/automation engineering.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing manufacturing processes for automation opportunities.
• Support modification of electrical and control system schematics and narratives.
• Assist with writing, testing, and debugging PLC and HMI control logic.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical and control issues.
• Support validation, installation, commissioning and startup of projects.
