We are seeking an entry-level Control Electrician to assist in building, installing, and troubleshooting electrical control systems. No prior electrical experience is required, but a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a thirst for knowledge are essential. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior electrical experience required, but must have strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics is beneficial, as is willingness to travel within the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely working with DC voltage and 480/240/120 V AC.
• Soldering cables.
• Building junction boxes & electrical pushbutton panels.
• Electrical plumbing & conduit bending.
• Engraving.
• Reading electrical schematics.
• Forklift operation.
• Motor wiring.
• Maintaining a clean workspace & shop.
• Relay logic.
• Motor control center wiring.
• Variable frequency drive (VFD) operation.
• Electrical pushbutton panel check-outs and troubleshooting.
• Cable sizing.
• Understanding NEC rules.
