Job summary

TIC_Craft in Texas is seeking an entry-level helper to assist skilled craft workers and support site operations. You will perform physical tasks, assist with setup, and adhere to safety rules under supervision.

Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, keeping work areas clean, and observing equipment for hazards. This role requires outdoor work in all weather and potential overtime, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Working knowledge of the position tasks and abilities.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions given by superintendents, foreman and other experienced crew.
• Perform all duties with safety as the first priority.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Read warning signs and operating instructions for equipment and safety rules.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment to identify hazards.
