Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Entry Level / Early Career) to join their growing construction team. You will work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on active projects, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

The role emphasizes coordination, cost tracking, scheduling, and documentation, with a clear path for career growth into Project Management, Estimating, or Operations.

Qualifications

• Internship, co op, or 1–3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar educational background preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and drawings (or willingness to learn).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents on active construction projects.
• Assist with project coordination and daily operations.
• Track project costs, quantities, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Help manage schedules, change orders, and project reporting.
• Support subcontractor and vendor coordination.
• Gain exposure to a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Build practical field and project management experience.
