Job summary

STRUCTURAL San Diego is seeking a Project Engineer through our PECD program to grow into leadership roles on concrete repair and specialty construction projects. This in-office role emphasizes scheduling, estimating, budgeting, safety management, quality control and client relations.

  • Bachelor's degree required (C.M./Civil Eng or related).
  • GPA 2.8 or higher preferred.
  • At least one relevant internship.
  • Strong verbal/written communication.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.

In order to accomplish that, the PECD program has been structured with a competency based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our Project Engineers will build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more.

About The Team

STRUCTURAL San Diego office is located in San Diego, CA and is primarily an in-office position. Most of the team’s projects are in the greater Southern California area, however there is opportunity for out-of-town work in Arizona, Washington and other regions of California.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
