Job summary

STRUCTURAL Denver office is seeking a Project Engineer as part of the Career Development (PECD) program. You will learn field construction skills, work with experts, and support project teams on concrete repair and strengthening scopes in the Colorado region.

The PECD program emphasizes mentorship, competency-based growth, and opportunities to advance into project management, estimating, or construction management. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Preference for internship experience or related field work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling and track production rates on projects.
  • Assist with estimating and budget preparation for scopes of work.
  • Support project cost control and change management.
  • Contribute to safety management and ensure compliance on site.
  • Maintain quality control and field documentation.
  • Engage in business development and client relations activities.
  • Manage field resources to support project progress.

In order to accomplish that, the PECD program has been structured with a competency based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our Project Engineers will build experience across multiple competencies before being promoted into the career path they desire – project management, estimating, construction management and more.

About The Team

Our STRUCTURAL Denver office is located in Sedalia, CO and is primarily an in-office position. This team focuses on our core concrete repair and strengthening scopes of work on unique structures in the greater Colorado region.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Preference for Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for solving problems
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job-sites
