Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking an Entry Level Construction Project Engineer to be based in Fort Worth, TX. This role begins in May 2027 and involves assisting on-site activities under supervision to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction management, building technology, or engineering, with internship experience and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam or AutoCAD/Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, building technology, an engineering discipline or similar field.
• Internship or equivalent experience on construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area.
• Receive supervision and direction in performance of responsibilities.
• Receive technical direction from the Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Assist with planning and coordination of subcontractor activities.
• Monitor subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards.
• Enforce safety programs and project procedures on site.
• Maintain document control systems and update drawings, RFIs, submittals, and minutes.
• Interface with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure design intent.
• Support communication between field management, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to ongoing professional knowledge and team productivity.
