Job summary

Northedge, LLC is a leading commercial drywall and metal framing subcontractor in NC and VA. We are seeking an Entry-Level Project Accountant to learn the full project accounting cycle, assist with billing, compliance, and day-to-day financial tasks that keep projects moving smoothly.

You will support Accounts Receivable/Payable, project setup, cost tracking, and monthly reporting while gaining exposure to construction-specific processes like AIA billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or related field.
• 0-2 years accounting/finance experience; construction exposure is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and eager to learn ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Internship or related experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and billing processes.
• Help with project setup, compliance documents, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support monthly reporting and project cost tracking.
• Process vendor invoices and expense reports with accuracy.
• Provide communication and documentation support between the Accounting and Project Management teams.
• Learn construction-specific financial processes, including AIA billing.
