Job summary

ECS Limited in Long Beach is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician. No experience is required; you'll learn under supervision and receive paid training with certification support.

You'll perform tests in concrete and soils labs, assist with sample prep, data entry, and QA/QC documentation, and grow toward expanded responsibilities with certification incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain lab certifications applicable to the lab work performed.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic laboratory tests on construction material samples under supervision.
• Assists with sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Compiles test results, data input, and QA/QC records.
• Maintains calibration records and lab equipment.
• Supports occasional fieldwork as needed.
• Keeps lab clean and organized.
