Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a semi-skilled helper to support skilled trades on construction projects. Under direct supervision, you will assist with routine installations, site prep and cleanup on an on-site basis at our San Antonio campus.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver’s license, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions. This is a full-time, on-site role within UT Health San Antonio facilities operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow written and verbal safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trade workers with routine installations and site preparation.
• Assist with insulating ductwork, prepping surfaces for paint, and general construction tasks.
• Perform area housekeeping and site cleanup; organize tools, materials and debris.
• Perform similar semi-skilled duties and support for higher level positions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
