Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an entry-level Construction Helper to assist skilled craft workers on busy job sites in Texas. You will follow directions, keep tools and work areas safe, and learn to operate basic equipment while emphasizing safety and quality.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and willingness to overtime nights or weekends as needed. Candidates should have reliable teamwork and good communication with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Willingness to learn safe use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions given by superintendents, foreman and other experienced crew.
• Perform all required duties with the first focus on safety.
• Responsible for keeping work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
• Read and understand warning signs, operating instructions for equipment, jobsite safety rules and jobsite policies.
• Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards.
