ServiceMaster Restore in Middletown, OH is seeking a Construction Helper to support our skilled trades on restoration and rebuild projects. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; no prior experience is required.

You will assist carpenters and technicians, handle tools and materials, perform demolition and cleanup, and help with framing, drywall, and finishing under supervision, while maintaining safety and professionalism on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform demolition work, debris removal, and site cleanup.
• Help with basic framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and other reconstruction tasks under supervision.
• Set up and break down job site equipment and safety barriers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate hand tools and power tools as directed.
• Follow instructions from lead technicians and project supervisors accurately and efficiently.
• Represent ServiceMaster Restore professionally when interacting with clients and property owners.

Position Overview

This is a hands‑on, physically active role ideal for someone eager to build a career in construction — no prior experience required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities

Assist carpenters, technicians, and project leads with daily construction and reconstruction tasks on job sites. Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
