Job summary

County Materials is hiring a Plant Team member in Astatula, Florida to support daily concrete pipe and precast production. You will assist with molding, reinforcement, and form assembly while following safety protocols.

Entry-level position with hands-on training provided for equipment, safety, and production processes. Responsibilities include staging materials, inspecting molds, and coordinating with crews to ensure efficient production.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 0–2 years of related manufacturing or plant experience.
• Ability to exercise good judgment around machinery and unloading materials.
• Strong teamwork mindset with flexibility to support production needs.
• Willingness to learn, be trained, and cross-train on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and stage concrete forms and molds before production cycles.
• Read and follow basic production instructions, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Place and secure reinforcement using tie guns, clip guns, or hand tools.
• Install concrete accessories such as steps, spacers, and inserts.
• Clean forms, tools, molds, and production areas after each cycle.
• Stage materials to support continuous production and assemble form components.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment after training.
• Assist in moving and setting up headers, pallets, etc., for pours.
• Participate in safety meetings and quality checks.
