Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, perform slump, air, temperature tests, and cast cylinders while documenting results the same day. Training is provided and certifications are paid by us.

No prior experience required; you must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable working outdoors at diverse sites. This role offers hands-on learning with opportunities to advance into senior technical or supervisory tracks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in various weather and sites.
• Reliable, detail-focused, and coachable.
• Willing to train and obtain required certifications (ACI Field Grade I, NICET) paid by the company.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
