Job summary

GEM in Virginia Beach is seeking Customer Engagement Representatives to support live promotional events, community campaigns, and brand activations. This entry-level role requires no prior experience and offers paid training and hands-on coaching from day one.

You will interact with customers, represent brands professionally, assist at events and information booths, and help create a welcoming experience for attendees. Growth and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training is provided.
• Customer-facing roles such as retail, hospitality, restaurants, or events are helpful but not required.
• Candidates should be personable, professional, reliable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with customers and community members.
• Represent brands and nonprofit partners professionally.
• Provide information and answer questions about campaigns and promotions.
• Assist customers during live events and promotional activities.
• Help create a welcoming customer experience.
• Participate in community outreach and public engagement.
• Assist with event registration, information booths, demonstrations, and promotional areas.
