Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a CNC Set-Up I to support multiple shifts. You will load preset CNC programs, perform minor adjustments, and run machines to produce compliant parts per established procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities include in-process inspection, basic machine adjustments, and routine maintenance. The role requires attention to detail, safe operation, and the ability to work with a diverse team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience: One year relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of CNC program structure, G and M codes, CAD/CAM outputs.
• Understanding GD&T and SPC; attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Load preset CNC programs and make minor approved adjustments.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable products per instructions.
• Perform basic in-process inspection and record results.
• Make basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance like coolants and filters.
• Stack and transport product using manual equipment and forklifts.
• Maintain clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
