Job summary

BrassCraft Manufacturing Company seeks an entry‑level Rotary Transfer Trunnion Set‑Up/Operator to efficiently set up and operate machining equipment and perform daily maintenance. You will assist in tooling repairs and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, recording production data, gauging parts for conformance, starting and stopping machines, and handling tooling changes with basic troubleshooting support.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and tolerance specs is required.
• Experience with tooling adjustments, set-ups, change-overs, and troubleshooting quality issues.
• CNC machining experience is preferred but not required.
• Statistical Process Control experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and measure parts for conformance.
• Record shift production data and tool changes.
• Start/stop machines and load stock onto machines.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on machines (oil, coolant, pressures).
• Remove and replace tooling as needed.
