Job summary

Allegion is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our operations team. You will set up and operate CNC equipment to manufacture metal parts per drawings, performing repetitive loading/unloading, tool checks, and step-by-step setup.

This role requires basic machining knowledge, strong communication, safety awareness, and teamwork. We offer competitive pay with a base hourly range and bonus eligibility, and overtime may be required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level role: no experience required.
• Basic machining knowledge and related tools.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• CNC Operations: set up and operate CNC equipment to cut, punch, form, drill, mill and stamp per drawings.
• Load/unload parts, attach components, and use hand tools as required.
• Perform basic equipment checks and follow setup instructions.
• Quality Assurance: perform routine inspections and document production counts.
• Safety: adhere to PPE use and report hazards.
• Collaborate with team, engineers and QC to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and be flexible for overtime.
