Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC training or exposure required.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Must be able to run CNC equipment in one cell; change jaws; change tools; load programs; run first piece and obtain QC.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and without injury.
• Machine operation involving loading and tending runs of parts or one-step operations on individual parts.
• Position and secure tools in holding devices, tables, chucks, centers and fixtures.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
• Read blueprints, orders, tooling instructions and charts for dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 quality standards and procedures.
• Index turret and adjust tool positions to ensure clearance and tolerances.
• Start and observe machine operation; adjust controls as needed.
• Pressure test parts according to drawing or work procedure.
• Perform 5S housekeeping, coolant replacement and TPM.
• Perform simple inspection with calipers and micrometers.
• Make offsets corrections to maintain quality.
• May rotate to other positions to meet production needs.
• Attend shifts and participate in team meetings.
