Job summary

Princeton Precision Group in Mentor, Ohio is seeking entry level and experienced Machine Operators to join and grow with the team. You will learn to identify and operate CNC machinery under supervision, loading, machining, and gauging metal castings as per written instructions.

Training will start on days, with potential shift changes. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour during training and increases to $20.00 per hour after training; health, retirement, and tuition benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools.
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow written work instructions.
• Load parts to be machined into the fixture.
• Verify parts loaded and set in fixture.
• Enter program number to machine part.
• Use gage to record dimensional data on forms.
• Determine if gauge readings are in tolerance.
• Inspect part features.
• Follow tagging process for non-conforming parts.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
