Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience in construction or construction materials testing.
• Dependable transportation; truck preferred for incentive program.
• Ability to pass a DISA drug screen.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Willing to work an 'On Call' schedule and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinder casting).
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil tests.
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation documenting capacity, penetration and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch and onsite clients daily; relay information to management.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
