Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking applicants for the Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician role in Geismar, TX. Training will be provided and you can get certified. The role involves field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specifications are met.

Candidates with ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred. Expect a full-time schedule with diverse testing tasks and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• +1 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferable for an incentive program.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Available for an on-call schedule with irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests for soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring.
• Conduct concrete testing: slump, air content, temp, unit weight, cylinders for compression.
• Do soil compaction tests using sand cone or nuclear density gauge; Proctor, Atterberg, sieve analysis.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely, detailed reports; follow safety procedures and company protocols.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and onsite clients daily; build client relationships.
