Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking applicants for the Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician role in Cedar Creek, TX. Training will be provided, and you can get certified. The position involves field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specs are met.

Preferred candidates have 1+ year in construction/testing and a valid transportation means. Candidates must pass a DISA drug screen and background check; TWIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing or equivalent.
• Must have dependable transportation and may require a work truck.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen and background check.
• TWIC card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinders).
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Carry out Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil tests as applicable.
• Perform asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports and communicate with dispatch and clients.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow company safety procedures.
• Cooperate with technical team and build client relationships.
