DIHO Consulting USA is seeking applicants for an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician role in Geismar, TX. Training will be provided, and you can get certified!

The position involves field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure compliance with project specifications, with preferences for ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications. You will perform concrete, soil, and asphalt tests, monitor piles, and produce detailed reports while adhering to

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation (truck preferred).
• Must pass a DISA drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials/equipment.
• Capable of maintaining an On Call schedule and willing to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests on soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring.
• Concrete testing: slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, cylinder casting for compressive strength.
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge; Proctor and Atterberg limits; sieve analysis.
• Asphalt density testing and core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation and documenting capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports and communicate with dispatch and onsite clients.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols; maintain client relationships.
