Thomaston Savings Bank is hiring for a Client Service Associate I in Thomaston, CT. The role combines Head Teller and Client Service Representative duties, with emphasis on customer service and accurate cash handling.

The CSA I will mainly handle Head Teller responsibilities as branch needs dictate, while also performing client service transactions and account-related duties in a fast-paced banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises tellers and ensures professional cash handling.
• Balances daily branch cash and vault transactions.
• Provides accurate client service with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and money orders.
• Opens and closes all account types and assists with notary and safe deposit.
• Assists in staffing and training teller staff and maintains branch appearance.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and makes referrals per procedures.
• Ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.
