American Structurepoint’s Civil Site Engineering Group in Columbus, OH, is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer to gain hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking, roadways, and stormwater management. You will collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to land development projects affecting local communities.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, or related program focused on civil infrastructure.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Team Leaders on land development projects (industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban redevelopment, affordable housing).
• Gain hands-on experience in drafting, plan production, field inspections, design coordination, and cost estimation.
• Use AutoCAD and HydroCAD to support design and stormwater management solutions.
• Assist with calculations, permit applications, technical specs, and exhibits/presentation materials.
• Contribute to projects from concept to construction and support multiple tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction, or Structural Engineering or related program (civil infrastructure)
