Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Project Manager in Albertville, MN to support senior project managers in planning, organization, and execution of construction materials testing projects on civil engineering assignments.

This entry-level PM role offers hands-on learning, exposure to field and lab coordination, documentation management, and safety compliance, with base pay $70,000–$85,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field, or equivalent amount of experience.
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience in the construction or engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring all phases meet AET’s standards for quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate the timely collection and testing of samples and materials with field and lab teams to maintain project requirements.
• Organize and update project documentation, including tracking sample data, field logs, and test result summaries.
• Provide project updates to clients and internal teams under the supervision of senior PMs, ensuring client expectations are managed.
• Monitor field safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, assisting the project team in adherence to safety practices.
