Job summary

ESCO Construction Company in Evergreen, CO is seeking an entry‑level estimator. You will assist in preparing civil estimates, read plans, and manage bid pricing for projects across Colorado and nearby states.

The ideal candidate has some heavy civil estimating experience and thrives in a detail‑oriented, team‑driven environment. ESCO offers competitive pay and a strong employee‑owned benefits package, with a deadline of 9/21/2026.

Qualifications

1–5 years’ experience in heavy civil estimating required.
Engineering or CM degree is a plus but not required.
Experience with projects above $5 million is required.
Experience with bid reviews and takeoffs for civil projects.
Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid or similar software.

Responsibilities

Search project databases and communicate with partners about new and current projects.
Attend pre-bid meetings and bid openings as required.
Read civil plans and specifications accurately.
Prepare detailed civil takeoffs using relevant software.
Solicit subs and evaluate proposals; manage bid pricing.
Assist in preparing technical proposals and cost analyses.
