Job summary

Freese and Nichols is hiring entry-level Engineers I in the United States. You will develop design plans, support hydraulic calculations, build models, and prepare technical reports for water and transportation projects.

You’ll visit project sites and gradually take ownership of portions of real project deliverables while working with mentors to grow practical skills. You will be supported to pursue EIT/EI and PE, with training, bonuses, and a hybrid work schedule that includes remote days and

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering or related program.

Responsibilities

• Develop design plans, support hydraulic calculations and drainage studies, analyze data, build models, and help prepare technical reports and construction documents.
• Build and review models using industry-standard engineering software.
• Work with experienced engineers who will explain the 'why', not just give you a task.
• Visit project sites and see how designs move from plans to reality.
• Gradually take ownership of portions of real project deliverables.
