Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• GPA 3.0 preferred.
• December 2026 graduates to start in Q1 preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and related design guides and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity by reading and applying departmental design guides, standards, and policies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to support design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and work with project teams to resolve design challenges and incorporate client requirements.
• Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods.
• Assist with development of project schedules, cost estimates, and deliverables.
• Focus on internal client needs while gaining understanding of external client drivers.
• Develop and apply knowledge of engineering software, design tools, and digital delivery methods.
