Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Riverside, CA seeks an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to assist with planning, design, and permitting of civil, land development, and infrastructure projects. The role offers exposure to site/civil design for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, and federal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of work-related experience.
• EIT Certification or current registration for the FE exam preferred.
• Prior internship or professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and topographical data for planning and design impact.
• Suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
